Innovation Hour

This year my Innovation Hour project was a book. It was more challenging than last year when I made a website that gave a list of places that help you create a game or website. It was harder because I had to stay focus on the book and it’s hard to focus when you have knives being thrown at you. I would get stuck on what to do in my book and it would get to a point where it was dull and I would just want to restart my whole entire book.

    Last year I did this project. It was fun because I’ve been writing short stories ever since I was little. Sure it would be stories like, Jake loved his dog they played all the time. It was very small and short but I’ve always wanted to be heard and someone to just tell that I did a good job with my creativity so that way I know I’ve completed a childhood goal. It was difficult to write this as well though to.

    Ever since I was little I wasn’t good at remembering things. That was not a good thing because I don’t remember anything I learned in first or second grade. It makes it hard because I’m not good with make proper sentences with good grammar and spelling. I still did it though. It took some friends to help sometimes. I would go up to them and tell them what just happened in my book and they supported me and gave me advice of what to do next. I always tend to make run on sentences, or make sentences that don’t make sense at all. I wonder if it’s because those years in elementary or just because I’m not good enough to be an author.

    How might this story would’ve turned out if I was better with grammar and such? I believe I would be able to start a book writing organization or a book club. I would have had my project done better and clearer. Less rewrites, and more details. It was hard for me to add every little detail.

    In Conclusion, This year I wrote a book for my innovation Hour project it was tough for me because of my past and problems with writing but, at the end I completed my goal and I’m proud of myself so pushing through it to the end. The book I wrote is called “Broken Pieces”

Water catching fire COOL, or Bad? (Please respond and tell me your answer)

Fracking is not a safe viable alternative to our energy independence, people's water are becoming more flammable people can now actually set their water on fire because there's so much gasoline in their well's. Fracking is not the new way to get to the future. It's destroying livestock and they are getting sick and bald spots due to the gasoline that has been getting into peoples wells and then the people and animals drink it and become very ill. That's only just one thing though, It's also just not safe for man kind or the wild life. It could kill us off one by one if it get's to out of hand, and every house in the u.s. had a Fracking well, Wells used to release the natural gas. Also a lot of gas is being released into the air which could kill the atmosphere. The amazing thing is I got all this just from watching one documentary "Gas Lands" It talks about everything I just talked about. Also it talk's about that peoples drinking water is actually turning black and brown too, and the water company say's it's safe even though they wont drink the water them selves. Also people believe that it's causing earth quakes in some areas that have many Fracking wells. These are pretty much most of the reasons why I personally think that Fracking is bad and that it's not good for our future of become a more Eco Friendly planet. You could also find more in the movie "Promise Land" A movie about this new way of getting Natural gas to help people even though it doesn't. It's a movie about a person how basically is trying to get his town to know the truth about Fracking. In Conclusion it's bad for man kind and livestock turning people's water into another cause to wild fires.

Innovation hour

Does it matter if I can't decided what to right about I changed my book a third time today but I'm sticking to it. I love this Idea so far I'm 992 words or so. It's turning out really good.It's about a little boy growing up with just a dog because he lost his parents and it's one of the last things he has of them. But it's turning out very very well.

Chapter 1 Part 1/2:
    What was America like in the year 1763?
In the year 1763 it was really bad. Free black men couldn't vote which Beat's the purpose of being called FREE black men. They 'French And Indian War' also just was won by the English and now that they have people settled in they needed to pay for the war. So they made the colonist pay in their taxes. It also took so long for shipments of food and other supplies to come in so they decided to make their own laws and such. In conclusion in the year 1763 it wasn't very good and very different from today.


Chapter 1 Part 2/2:
    Why did the English americans want independence? Did every American want independence?
The Americans wanted independence because they where tiled with all the acts they wanted it to be over with they didn't like them at all it lead to many, many, many bad thing's. I was agreed by a group of patriots, also known as American's, Cam up with this idea in 1774 but no one agreed to it but in march 1785  Patrick Henry mad another speech that went to history, but not everyone wanted to be independent they where called Loyalist or Tories. In conclusion They wanted independence because of the bad thing's that where happening and not everyone wanted independence.


Chapter 2:
    What/When/Where was the decision made to become independent? How did the war Begin?
The decision was made on July 4, 1776 By Franklin, Adams, and Jefferson. What was all over the war and everything else; they finally won their war. The war only started because of a small little shot on the green of Lexington the shoot heard around the world from the British in my opinion but the war was over and they had independents.

Chapter 3:
   What where the chances of America winning the war?
America had a small chance but they had a good leader and men that wouldn't give up they where 100% committed. And they did it they won the war even with a small chance they did it. Even though the English had more solders and such. The English had a greater number yet we won the ar.

Chapter 3:
Was valley forge a good time or bad time for George Washington. It was little bit of both good and bad. It started of bad because they made many mistakes until the french said you know what we could win let's team up with them and win it shouldn't be that hard
